Let me start by saying how much I enjoyed this wedding…the entire day i felt as if I was just hanging out snapping some shots of friends…think I am just saying this? well I was still at the reception while the clock struck 1:30am, (almost 4 hours after I was technically finished shooting!) my day started with the boys being ready, (before i even got there!) hours before the ceremony & as we chatted the groomsmen & i FINALLY figured out why we seemed familiar to each other, (go ball hockey boys;) from here i went to lake where the girls were getting ready…what a beautiful home your parents have Susy! the absolute perfect place for your intimate wedding…as she brought up her dress i had to look away with tears in my eyes, being told NOT to make the bride cry lol!…i still get goosebumps thinking of your dress! words cannot even describe how fabulous it looked on you!!!…everything flowed so smoothly throughout the day & i could not have asked for anything more…the boat ride around the lake was awesome, the pizza hit the spot & everyone involved made my job so easy just by looking so darn good!!! thankyou so very much for allowing me to be a special part of your day…enjoy your peek at a small selection of my faves!

just because i know they can’t wait i am posting a quick peek…

i’ve known mommy & daddy for years now & was absolutely thrilled when asked to do their session…we got to catch up, i finally got to their new home for a visit & i got lots of cuddle time with their new little bella…at nine days old chloe just slept through most of our 4.5 hour session & didn’t once complain about all the shifting & positioning in her sleep…it was such a great time that as usual i felt as if i wasn’t even working…this is my reassurance that i have found what i was meant to do in this world…every time i pick up my camera lately i just feel a joy & happiness come over me…between snapping shots & being a momma i am constantly thinking ‘how great of a job do i have!?!?’…although i am sure that getting fed pizza for our lunch break also helped in this matter lol!

so welcome to the world bebe chloe…you already bring such joy to your mommy & daddy, along with all those in your life…i can’t wait to watch you grow in to the beautiful little doll i know you will soon become…

i love her feet!…long & skinny definitely suits seeing as she weighed only 6lb14oz & still managed to be 23 inches long!

i’m betting this one makes it on the wall in the philly room…

i am exhausted & in between holidays trying to get all my postings caught up, (nik & i visited the cottage last weekend & camping starts wednesday with josh…lots of pics to share later)…i really, really am trying to get michelle & darren’s peek up tonight but as my eyes fall heavier & heavier i take a deep breath & whisper ‘just pick one’…yes…i talk to myself often lol…it keeps me sane, (if that makes sense…)

so here is the first image my eyes feel upon…i will share more tomorrow so darren don’t feel left out;) i think you would have to agree with me that she may just be one of the most beautiful brides ever…so much i want to share but for now just let her take your breathe away…

my dear friend katy, who i consider family, is half way through her pregnancy so i told her we had to mark the occasion! yes it is true…my lovely girl below is 20 weeks pregnant! she is starting to get her cute little bump, (i swear it’s there!) & is just glowing…

katy & brandon had planned on not finding out the sex & were set in this decision…that is until they saw baby dunlop on the screen…daddy, who was the advocate for keeping the sex mystery, flipped sides & practically begged to find out…were they going to have pink or blue knit booties?!?

. . . well now they know . . .

. . . & i know . . .

. . . and that is where it ends . . .

for now

i add this because if you know katy you can’t help but love her…saying this you also are probably giggling because you know i am about to reference her secret keeping skills…not to say she can’t keep her lips zipped on the important stuff but something this big & exciting…well it is bound to come out…

so for the moment i am keeping the final blue or pink pictures secret…but we all know you won’t have to wait too long

sorry i have been offline…i don’t get internet in walkerton, where i have been for three or so weeks, therefore noone has seen all the beautiful brides i have been shooting!…i will be focusing on editing, posting & fitting in a family vacation in the next couple weeks so i will get all the crazy awesome work i have been doing up for all to see & share…

for this quick post i am just letting you know i am still here…thought i would share a peek, literally, from the rehearsal party friday evening…i must say i find it a great asset to attend rehearsals as a photographer…not only do you get to meet the family & all the ‘super’ important people involved in the big day but you also have a much better feel of how the ceremony will flow… keep an eye out for images from susy & jeremie’s wedding day! trust me…you won’t want to miss them…

busy busy day…to keep it short & sweet it was one of those days where i was constantly going from one thing to another…at least i feel like i am slowly getting back on top of things! i even got treated to a mani/pedi today courtesy of josh’s mom for sarah & chris’ wedding this weekend, (sooo excited!)…it took my mind a bit to take in that i was to be in relax mode but what a treat! Milena was fantastic & i left feeling rejuvenated & refreshed, (a huge accomplishment considering my 4:30am-7:30&9:00am sleeps the past 2 nights! note the clock reads 5:09am…o well)…

i have been shooting & editing & visiting family i don’t see as often as i would like…o…& nik & i made a long overdue cottage trip with my kw crew, (pics soon…i promise girls!)….there…now you know what i have been up to lol…i promise to also post an update on my munchkin next week & will definitely get the peeks up so you can see what i have been working at, but for now you will just have to settle for me bragging in this quick post, (yes, i have been a blog slacker…i will make it up to you …

on the up side i FINALLY got around to going through nik’s toys!!! no longer will we be constantly tripping to get through our living room, & now nik’s room is what it should be…a toy-filled playroom for a little boy..& when we can’t get those toys picked up right after playing we just shut the door… …nik was so excited when i showed him his surprise this morning! he just kept going around his room checking out where everything now belonged and he even put most of it back in the correct place afterwards! now if i could only get around to placing a personal order to WHCC for his walls i would be set!

and yes…those are nik’s new cloth diapers!!! i cannot express how nice it is to be using them again…& they are super cute lime green designs…i will post some colour shots in next weeks update! until then…

so the first of my summer weddings i was especially honored to be apart of…my dear friend laura married the love of her life angelo…they are such a great couple, who were completely laid back & just enjoyed their day together, (which many know is easier said than done!)…the bridal party was a hoot & put up a brave front, even though the girls had goosebumps the entire time we were at the park! i will never forget my first greek wedding & enjoyed learning new customs & traditions…not to mention the reception! how much fun is traditional greek dancing!!!!

laura you looked beautiful doll & i hope you enjoy your peek back at your day!

how cute are laura’s parents?!? neither had seen laura’s dress before this & they spent a good couple minutes passing the camera back & forth, fighting with it to capture this moment forever…not sure how their shot turned out but i love the what i captured…
